The yarn is plied, meaning that the individual threads lie next to each other and are not twisted. If a small loop forms, simply pull a few meters of yarn from the ball, and the loop will usually return to the yarn path; if not, it can be easily knitted in.
For gradient yarn: the color changes create tiny knots that are no longer visible in the finished yarn. Hand washing with lukewarm water and wool detergent is always recommended.
