No. 202 Tank Top DESY Knitting Pattern

The DESY Top is knitted bottom-up. It features a V-neckline at both the front and back, with prominent decreases that accentuate the edges. The body is knitted in the round, then it splits into front and back sections. Both sides are then completed separately in rows. The DESY Top only needs to be sewn together at the straps at the top.

Techniques used: Garter stitch selvedge, stockinette stitch, garter stitch, knit 2 together, slip 1 knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (ssk). All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions, some with videos.

The following is needed:
• approx. 250g (300g) Lilly uni mix No. 6 - LL 130m/50g (cotton blend)
Alternative yarn: Lilly cotton 140 – LL 140m/50g (pure cotton)
• Circular knitting needle size 4.5 – length 60 or 80 cm
• 2 stitch markers, blunt sewing needle, scissors

Gauge: stockinette stitch with _ 4.5 = 10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 28 rows
