Docker/Fisherman's hat in rib pattern

The hat is knitted from bottom to top, either on short circular needles or on double-pointed needles. For decreases, switch to double-pointed needles. The hat can be made in two versions: as a short Docker version with a brim or as a longer Beanie version. Due to the invisible seaming of the threads, it is reversible.

The Fishermen's hat is UNISEX – it can be worn by both women and men.

The following techniques are used: knit and purl stitches, simple cast-on, slip, slip, knit (SSK), knit two stitches together.

Sizes: Baby – Adult XXL, for head circumference 42–62 cm.

Basic knowledge required, everything else is explained in detail and/or illustrated with videos!

The following is needed:

•Docker: 50g yarn: SOCKS - LL 210m/50g

•Beanie: 100g yarn: SOCKS - LL 210m/50g

•Double-pointed needles size 3.0 mm

•(optional) Circular needles size 3.0 mm with a length of 40cm

•8 stitch markers, blunt tapestry needle, scissors

Gauge stockinette stitch with needle size 3.0 _ 10 x 10 cm = 28 sts x 42 rows
