No.249 Hoodie ALEX Knitting Pattern

The ALEX hoodie is a sleeveless unisex hooded jumper in stocking stitch. Its cut is slightly oversized, with comfortable armholes and a subtle hood. ALEX is not only suitable for warm summer days but also a perfect all-season companion with a long-sleeve underneath.
 
The hoodie is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up in rounds. It starts at the cuff. After knitting in rounds up to the armholes, the work is divided, and the front and back are worked separately in rows. Finally, the shoulder seams are knitted by decreasing in rounds, and the neckline transitions directly into the hood. The ALEX hoodie has no seams, making it ready to wear immediately after binding off!
 
Techniques used: Ribbing, stocking stitch, single and double decreases. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions, partly with videos.

Size Guide:
The ALEX hoodie should have a positive ease of approx. 15-20 cm relative to the bust circumference. Sizes 36 (38) 40 (42) 44 (46) fit a bust circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm. The measurements of the finished hoodie are on the front of the instructions. The measurements will only be accurate with an exactly identical gauge. Please determine your bust circumference or the widest part of your body before starting to knit to determine the correct size.
Example: your bust circumference is 90 cm, then you should choose size 38. Your hoodie would then have a positive ease of 18 cm. Gauge: stocking stitch with _ 4.5 = 10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 28 rows

• approx. 300 (325) 350 (400) 425 (450) g Lilly No. 6 by WoolAffair, running length 130m/50g

• Circular knitting needles 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm (length 60 or 80 cm)
• 2 stitch markers and stitch holders or scrap yarn to hold stitches
