The SPEEDY No.1 house socks are knitted from the toe to the heel. They are worked in stockinette stitch. From the toe to the opening, they are knitted in the round, then in rows. The heel is shaped by decreases. Finally, the SPEEDYs are given an I-cord edge.
The house socks were named SPEEDY because they are indeed super-fast to knit, taking less than 1 hour per sock.
Sizes: 35/36 (37/38) 39/40 (41/42) 43/44 (45/46)
Techniques used: knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases, I-cord edge. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions, some with videos.
Skills: Basic knowledge required, everything else is explained in detail or illustrated thoroughly with videos!
The following is needed:
100 g - (from size 41/42) 150 g chunky yarn: ANUK by WoolAffair - LL 75m/100g
Set of double-pointed needles, 8 mm, a stitch holder or a piece of yarn
2 pull-on loops RAFFY and 2 x half soles FELTY
Tapestry needle (blunt), scissors
