The RUBY hood scarf is first knitted as a hat part and closed at the back of the head. Stitches are then picked up along the bottom edge and the scarf is knitted directly onto it. The half-brioche pattern is arranged oppositely on the hat and scarf, creating a balanced pattern. The seamless connection results in a warm, reversible accessory that combines a hat and scarf in one piece.
Techniques used: Half-brioche stitch, knit and purl stitches, Italian bind-off. All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions, some with videos.

150 g LILLY Merino by WoolAffair - 120m/50g – 100% Merino
Circular knitting needles size 4.0 mm - length 60
1 knitting needle size 4.5 for decreases
Stitch markers, blunt sewing needle, scissors
Gauge: Half-brioche with needle size 4.0 - 10 x 10 cm = 22 sts x 44 rows Please always make a gauge swatch before you start knitting. Only by matching the gauge information can you ensure that your knitted piece will be the correct size or that your yarn is suitable for this project.
